Engineers

Civil Structural Engineer - BSCE to analyze existing steel constructed buildings and crane runway support structures and foundations for current or increased loadings. Design new free standing runways and crane, monorail and jib support structures including all foundations. Knowledge of ACAD, AISC, AIST, AWS, concrete and mill building specifications. Perform field data collections to obtain the details required for design or analysis. Field troubleshooting as required. Survey new and existing crane runway sytems for elevation and alignment compliance and recommended repairs. Travel as needed. Prefer professional engineer. Will consider entry level candidates.

Design Engineers - BSME or BSCE to analyze and design gearing, shafting, framework, wheel assemblies and drums on overhead traveling cranes. Specify materials, testing requirements, and equipment. Some field engineering will provide “hands on” training. Must also be capable of taking a project from concept to reality. this job offers a variety of challenges. AutoCad experience is a necessity.

Project Engineers - BSEE to design, apply and coordinate AC and DC industrial motor controls and microprocessor based variable frequency drives for electric overhead traveling cranes. You will size cables, conduits, motors, brakes and limit switches according to applicable codes and standards. Develop interconnection drawings and perform troubleshooting. AutoCad experience is a necessity.

Field Sales Engineers - You will be trained in all aspects of overhead crane service and engineering by participating in the various departments. Hands on field training for inspections, repairs and modernizations of overhead cranes and hoists. Must be self-motivated, technically sound, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Base salary plus sales incentive, car, benefits, etc. If you are up to the challenge, this is a very rewarding position. BSEE, BSME or BSCE preferred.

Crane Technicians

Electricians to troubleshoot, repair, service and inspect hoists, overhead cranes and gantries. Must have a good working knowledge of AC and DC motor controls. Must be capable of installing and troubleshooting variable frequency, variable voltage, invertors and flux vector drives. Skills in installing rigid conduit, pulling and terminating wires required. Knowledge of radio control systems a plus.

Mechanics, millwrights and certified welders to perform hoist and crane maintenance. Replace hoist and crane hoist ropes, tear down and rebuild gearboxes, install motors, install brakes, replace trolley and crane trackwheel assemblies and perform structural repairs.
